Announcement on Ethereum (ETH) and Stablecoin Staking

Incident Summary

On September 8, 2025, CoolWallet’s third-party service provider Kiln and SwissBorg received an alert about a possible unauthorized access to staking wallets, leading to abnormal withdrawals of some Solana assets. SwissBorg and Kiln immediately launched response measures, successfully stopped the irregular activities, and involved cybersecurity partners for resolution. To protect users, Kiln halted all staking transactions, forced validator exits, and conducted thorough chain-by-chain investigations to ensure asset safety and integrity.

During this time, API performance issues temporarily affected the display on CoolWallet staking pages. To prevent user impact, CoolWallet promptly collaborated with Kiln on investigations and continued to monitor the situation. Services have now fully recovered.
