The firmware update failure you experienced is often caused by an unstable Bluetooth connection. To help ensure a successful update, please follow these steps:
A. Place your CoolWallet S in the charging dock and make sure it is charging while performing the firmware update. A stable power supply helps prevent interruptions during the update process.
B. If the firmware update continues to fail, you may try resetting the card and attempting the update again. Below are the card reset steps:
1. Remove the CoolWallet App completely
2. Go to the Bluetooth settings page on your phone and remove the CoolWallet (CWSXXXXXX) device.
3. Reinstall the latest CoolWallet App from the App Store/Google Play.
4. Open CoolWallet App and click 'Setup my card'. Choose your CoolWallet model, and select the matching CoolWallet serial number, and click “Reset”. Once completed, the CoolWallet App will display 'Reset Successful'.
5. Once the reset is completed, select the matching CoolWallet serial number and click Pair.
6. Conduct firmware update again. Once the firmware is successfully updated, complete the following card pairing and wallet creation processes.
