We’ve added some exciting new updates to the coin exchange feature of the CoolBitX app. Together with a refreshed UI, the ability to compare and choose between multiple trading platforms (ChangeHero and Changelly) have been added to make your coin-to-coin trading more streamlined and intuitive. The CoolBitX app update is available for download now on iOS and Android.

CoolBitX Exchange Page Updates

Accessing the Exchange section is the same as before. Simply tap on the Trade icon at the bottom of the app and select the Exchange tab at the top. You can access the new exchange section by tapping on ‘Enter Exchange’.

Here is where you’ll find some changes. Coin selection now appears at the top of the page. Under the ‘You pay’ section, choose the coin you would like to pay with and enter the amount you would like to exchange. Under the ‘You get’ section, choose the coin you would like to exchange to.

The amount of exchanged coin you will receive will depend on the trading platform being used. Our app will automatically choose what it thinks the best rate will be, however, you may view and compare with other trading platforms by tapping the line.

Once you have chosen your preferred trade platform, you will be taken to the address page. Here is where you will choose the addresses from which you would like to send and receive your coins.

After you have confirmed the addresses, you will be taken to the payment page. All of the details about the transaction will be displayed here. This includes coin to coin exchange, amount, address, and trade platform. This page will only stay valid for 10 minutes. Once you have confirmed that everything is correct, you can click ‘Confirm and Pay’.

Please note that exchange rates and prices may fluctuate based on the closing prices of your preferred trading platform.

You will now be prompted to turn on your CoolWallet S and press the button to confirm and complete the transaction.
