I Chose Generating Recovery Phrases by Card. What Should I be Aware of?

If you choose to generate your recovery phrases using the CoolWallet Go card, the recovery phrases will be generated by the card and directly stored in its secure element. There is no need to manually write down or back up the recovery phrases.

However, please keep the following important points in mind:

• Make sure that the second card (the backup card) is also scanned and successfully backs up the same set of recovery phrases during wallet creation.
  

• If you ever need to reset the wallet, do not reset both the primary and backup cards. Reset only one card.
  

• If both cards containing the same recovery phrases are reset, it will be impossible to recover the original wallet or access its assets. In this case, your only option is to create a new wallet and start over.
  

To keep your assets safe, we strongly recommend storing both cards securely in a safe place and keeping at least one card that is never reset as your backup.
