If you would like to verify that your recovery phrases are correct after creating wallet, the only way to do so is by recovering your wallet using the recover phrases. If the recovered wallet shows the same addresses as before the reset, it means your recovery phrase backup is accurate.

Since this process requires resetting your card, please make sure to follow the preparation steps below carefully before proceeding:

✅ Preparation Before Resetting:

  • Take screenshots of your wallet list and all crypto addresses to compare after recovering.

  • Ensure your recovery phrases are with you, and have them ready for input.

  • If your wallet holds assets, we strongly recommend temporarily transferring them to another wallet or exchange to prevent loss in case the recovery phrases are incorrect and the wallet cannot be recovered.

🔁 Steps to Reset and Recover Your Wallet:

  1. Open the CoolWallet App and go to Settings -> Card Settings.

  2. Tap "Reset Card", carefully read the warnings, and follow the app’s instructions to complete the reset.

  3. Once reset is complete, return to the Wallet page and tap "Activate Now" to re-pair your CoolWallet card.

  4. Choose "Recover Wallet", and then enter your recovery phrases to recover the wallet.

  5. After recovery, check whether your crypto addresses match those before the reset. If they do, your recovery phrases are correct.
